Moselle chief rabbi awarded Légion d'Honneur

The chief rabbi of the Moselle region in eastern France, Bruno Fiszon has been honoured with one of the country’s highest awards.

Fiszon was presented with the award of Chevalier de la Légion d’Honneur by the Senate President Gérard Larcher.  

A qualified veterinarian, Fiszon is also a doctor of microbiology. He has been one of Europe’s leading advocates in the defence of Shechita over many years.
