EJC calls vehicular terrorist attack in Jerusalem same modus operandi and ideology as Berlin and Nice attacks

The European Jewish Congress has called today’s attack, using a truck to murder four Israelis and wound 15, a barbarous and inhuman act which was reminiscent of recent attacks in Europe.

“The vehicular terror in Jerusalem today was conducted using the same modus operandi and murderous ideology as the attacks in Nice and Berlin in recent months,” Dr. Moshe Kantor, President of the EJC, said. “Today’s attack demonstrates that Europeans and Israelis must stand together against terrorism and Islamist extremism that seeks to harm us all regardless of nationality, ethnicity or religion.”

“We send our deepest condolences to the families of the victims and the people of Israel and wish a speedy recovery to those injured in the attack.”
